Whilst we want you to enjoy your experience fully at Revolution Airsoft, this can only be done with some health and safety rules to follow.
Airsoft is relatively safe when played correctly, face protection is worn, suitable footwear and clothing is also worn, and you use common sense.
A full briefing is given to everyone on the day of play, whether experience or new to the sport, ensure you listen and take in the information. You will also be provided with a disclaimer to sign. If the player is under the age of 18 then a parent or guardian is required to sign this disclaimer, take the time to read it.
Slips, trips and falls happen, which can result injury, and that is why we ask you to wear suitable footwear, clothing and limit running where possible. Rental issue equipment is of a high standard. If you are bringing your own equipment/safety gear we ask that you ensure that it of a good standard, as this then becomes your responsibility.
For eye protection, look for the safety rating and do your research before buying….. It’s better to spend more and be protected, than to buy cheap and end up losing an eye. If in any doubt about your eye pro, Revolution Airsoft will be happy to provide a full-face mask. In the event that your own eye pro becomes cracked whilst in a game, put you hand up instantly, call out to a marshal and walk directly to them.
Please take the time to read through the site rules below…. this list is not exhaustive, and more information is provided within the safety briefing at the start of each session.
SITE RULES please read carefully:
No physical contact between players; pushing, barging or other aggressive physical behaviour toward other players or staff will not be tolerated.
Protection for eyes must be worn at all times in the airsoft arena. Only once instructed by the Revolution Airsoft team should these be removed, even when in the safe zone.
Any player caught removing eye protection in the game area will be asked to leave.
Airsoft operates an honesty based system, players who are hit are expected to raise their hand and comply with game requirements.
Any player shooting a player who has their hand raised can be automatically disqualified and asked to leave the gaming area.
Pyrotechnics are strictly forbidden for players to bring their own. This includes grenades and smoke flares.
Ricochets do not count as hits, but any other hit does, whether it is on your equipment or little finger.
All weapons must be made safe before entering the safe zone and must remain safe until you leave it. Magazines must be removed and the gun fired down the arena to empty.
Suitable footwear must be worn. For example, walking boots with ankle support. Footwear must cover the foot including the toes. High heels, flip-flops and sandals (with or without socks) are not permitted.
Arms and legs should ideally be covered; even in hot weather, as to limit harm/pain from BBs. Wearing gloves is advised.
Climbing or jumping is prohibited. Running whilst looking down the sight is also prohibited. Limit all other running to a minimum, as this is likely to lead to slips and falls – use tactical skills, rather than racing.
No spray and pray, if you cannot see your opponent you should hold fire until you can. All shots should be aimed using the sights and not blind firing
Do not under any circumstances move or interfere with obstacles or structures.
In the event of a fire move to the nearest fire exit and make your way to the front of the site where staff will meet you.
For health and safety reasons No food or drink is allowed within the game area.
